John Wilson has spent 16 years turning complex healthcare technology into stories that move markets.
He's led GTM strategy at Google Cloud, where he owned global sales enablement for clinical AI imaging solutions and helped drive 40 percent year-over-year revenue growth across priority accounts. At Elevance Health, he led Medicare and Medicaid product marketing for 13 million members and deployed internal GenAI tooling across more than 1,100 marketers. The through line across all of it: taking hard technology and making it credible, accessible, and commercially ready.
At Ferrum, John owns end-to-end marketing, spanning brand narrative, product marketing, competitive strategy, demand generation, and sales enablement. He sets the company's positioning, leads market intelligence, and translates clinical AI governance into proof points that drive enterprise pipeline growth. His goal is to establish Ferrum as the category-defining voice in clinical AI governance, shaping how health systems, regulators, and industry leaders think about safety, accountability, and real-world AI performance.
John holds a BS in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, and an MS in Clinical Informatics Management from Stanford School of Medicine. He expects to complete his MPH at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in May 2026. He also serves as a Faculty Mentor in Stanford's Master of Clinical Informatics Management program.
Outside of work, he mentors, travels, and bowls. He is the last of eight children, which may explain his comfort operating in complex, fast-moving environments.
