Kenneth Ko builds platforms that make AI safe, reliable, and real in environments where the stakes are high.
As a technical co-founder, he designed and implemented Ferrum's initial platform from the ground up, spanning core infrastructure, CI/CD and operational tooling, backend and frontend applications, and production ML systems. As the company scaled, he built and led the engineering organizations responsible for owning, operating, and evolving each of those layers. Today, his focus is enterprise platform and engineering leadership: setting technical and organizational strategy, establishing clear ownership boundaries, and enabling teams to ship systems that actually hold up in complex, regulated environments.
His approach is deliberately pragmatic. He aligns architecture with real-world constraints, reduces unnecessary complexity, and builds for the long run. Production deployments in healthcare demand deep integration with legacy enterprise systems and consistent attention to security, compliance, and operational rigor. That is the environment where his work lives.
Kenneth holds a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University, both with a specialization in Information Assurance. He graduated cum laude.
Outside of work, he is focused on increasing shareholder value. (He said it, not us.)
